Top Banana Antiques Malls is not just another antiques centre. We are Malls in the true sense of the word, offering established dealers (the shortest time in business 6 years through to the longest with 44 years under his belt), a cost effective shop of their own inside the carapace of the Top Banana brand.
Opening 7 days a week with an optimistic bustling market-type cafe atmosphere. Decorative antiques constantly on the move in and out of the shop, with rock music, aroma of freshly polished stock and brewed. Constant talk of recent buying trips from Hungary, France, Germany and even ENGLAND!
A combination of a professional, educated antique dealer selling clearly labelled commercial A-list stock at a realistic, competitive price with each proprietor having their own room/shop; yet motivated to sell for others with the back up of 5 full time managers and of course 60 contact lists and clients built up over decades, and not least of all the energy supplied by Julian Tatham-Losh, of which the town's gossip is that the pavement between the four shops will need to be renewed due to excessive wear and tear.

The Top Banana 2 at 32 Long Street, Tetbury was opened purely on the strength of our waiting list, which is now larger than before our opening on 1 February 2004.
Whilst Tetbury was traditionally a combination of period oak and painted furniture and decorative accessories, Top Banana Antiques Malls has offered a whole new spectrum to customers ranging from a contemporary 1960s chrome coffee table, through to fine art with the complete elephants bag of merchandise in between. The majority of Top Banana dealers lean towards the decorative, which we at Top Banana know is what our customers want. We have many specialist dealers offering fine period kitchenalia by Janie and Skip Smithson through to well reupholstered antique leather armchairs by Andrew Reeves, specialist upholsterers.
The trade as a whole needs to wake up!!! Antiques need not be boring. The reason the majority of us joined the trade was to have fun and make a living out of something we enjoyed. Top Banana offers a refreshingly different attitude where the client is more important than we are, and is not confronted either by a grumpy book/paper twitching shopkeeper or by the euphemistic statement 'Good Afternoon are you looking for something in particular?" and is not just an inconvenience to our daily routine.
Top Banana Antiques Malls work because we work - open Monday to Saturday 10 am to 5.30 pm and Sunday 11 am to 5 pm, and at any other time by appointment.

Our latest Antiques mall opened 2nd July 2005 offering decorative french furniture through fine antiquarian book with a good decorative range besides.

Top Banana Antiques Malls are 4 group shops of decorative antiques and interior inspiration in Tetbury, Gloucestershire.
We pride ourselves on our outgoing and friendly attitude to the buying and selling of antiques. Each of the 4 buildings has its own character and offers something different. Top Banana 3 offers an extensive range of antique and contemporary jewellery from £2.00 to £20,000, which appeals to a broader spectrum of clients.
Between the 4 shops, we can find something for a variety of people be it trade, retail or overseas visitors. The diversity of the items offered is what makes Top Banana so interesting. With furniture, for example, we can offer Georgian and Victorian pieces up to chrome and glass from the 1960s.
We have 70 dealers who are constantly changing their stock enabling us to offer new and exciting pieces on a daily basis.
