A lovely German cardboard hatbox with manufacturer's detail to the lid in gilding: 'Fabrik Lager Von Modernen Filz, Seiden &Stoff Huten' which translates as 'Manufacturer's warehouse from modern. felt silk and fabric hats'. This Mid-century hatbox is in used condition with wear to the cardboard and straps and discolouring, commensurate with age and use, see pictures. H Glockner manufacturer's name to the front.
