A hand carved Welsh Slate double inkwell. This Mid-century inkwell is raised on four feet and has two cut glass inkwell which can be removed and spaces on either side designed as pen holders. In good used condition with minor tarnishing to the slate and the white metal rims of the glass inkwells. Some residue inside the inkwells and some chips and losses to the base of the inkwells, see pictures.
