Antiques are great value in particular antique jewellery, but secondhand jewellery is seriously good value, often just ask your antique shop to put in the ultrasonic cleaner and will be better than new.
To replace these seed pearls alone is over £10 let alone re-fix them, attractive understated Art Nouveau antique less than £100 one would waste more on a poor quality restaurant meal.
