Uranium glass
Whilst it sounds dangerous, of course whilst there is a trace of uranium its held safely in the glass.
However if you happen as collectors often do to have a Geiger counter the glass will be irradiating.
This of course gives the out of this world acid lemon yellow effect to the glass, this item has an extra quality twist with the ground out pontil mark.
This glass is iconic and of course like so many European glasses couldn't be made today an unique and un-reproducible antique for really a very low price from the late 1890s.
