Charlotte Rhead
Charlotte Rhead 1885 to 1947, as with Clarice Cliff, Moorcroft, and her father Frederick, was one of the great innovators of the early 20th century in pottery.
Later on she worked for among others Crown Ducal where she developed her now trademark floral and pastel colours, like others mentioned she was ahead of her time in colour design and style, another exponent of the tub-lined style to fix glazes in place and therefore allowing more colourful designs.
