A lovely engine turned Sterling Silver snuff box with a hinged lid engraved to both in and outside. The initials on the outside read JMF and the date to the inside 10.7.48. This George IV box is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1824 by silvermaker James Collins, see pictures. In good used condition with minor tarnishing and closes good and secure. gold washed interior.
